Robin and I had a wedding this past weekend. Diana and Matt were a super cute couple and wanted all whites and creams for their flowers, as well as some twine details. We were all about it.

(I finally found a use for those vintage tickets I got a few years ago!)

Also, I received a VERY nice early birthday gift from my buddy Robin.

Everyone’s talking flowers. ‘Tis the season I guess. And flowers just aren’t showing up in our gardens and events, they are everywhere!

2. I pinned this art LOVE art poster a while ago. I just love the colours and it’s large at 20″x30″

3. These business cards are so beautiful! I especially love the scalloped edge

4. Cute little floral shoes

5. I just had to add this massive floral urn to the mix because I am obsessed with it

6. And lastly, these save-the-dates. Can one of our couples order these, pretty please!

The whole concept of the online magazine is just so perfect – each issue features one local Toronto home that has that ‘je ne sais quoi’. In our ‘Hoopla Covets…’ blog posts, we share our favourite images from the latest issue. We usually pick 3 -5, but we could easily just copy and paste the whole magazine in one post. Each home is that beautiful.

Well, our friends at Covet Garden want to offer a special issue to you IN PRINT! Covet Garden Home will be a ’100+ page half magazine/half book that will explore more about inventive spaces by revisiting your favourite homes from past issues of Covet Garden PLUS feature brand-new environments, DIY projects and food and drink ideas.’

They are hoping to get the magazine out by Winter 2013…but they need your help!

We all know the price of printing is astronomical, so they have launched an IndieGoGo campaign to raise the funds. They are almost half way there with just over a month to go. Take a look at their pitch video:

The cool thing is, if you donate just $30, you get a copy of the print magazine mailed to you at the end of the year! A pretty good deal, I think! And the more you donate, the more goods you get so check it the campaign here.

Not only was the weather awesome, we got to be a part of a wicked collaborative team for a wedding on Saturday.

Lu from Style by Lu (on the right) met Robin last summer at Blogshop and asked us to help with some decor items for her client’s wedding.

We jumped on board, obviously, because we love our job and we love Lu! She’s a seriously cool chick!

Lu also brought on one of our favourite florists, Becky (beside Lu) from Blush and Bloom. Another very cool chick

It was so great working with a team and it turned out amazing!

These ribbon chargers, although a pain to make, were totally worth it. Don’t they look awesome with Becky’s fleurs?

We made 220 ribbon wands for the ceremony. I can’t wait to see a picture of them being waved in the air by all the guests!

This is our favourite backdrop by far. We didn’t really do it intentionally, but doesn’t it look like a Moroccan wedding blanket???

We also made some banner signs for different areas of the room. You know how much we love glitter…and we also love fringe, so it was a match made in heaven!
