Not only was the weather awesome, we got to be a part of a wicked collaborative team for a wedding on Saturday.

Lu from Style by Lu (on the right) met Robin last summer at Blogshop and asked us to help with some decor items for her client’s wedding.

We jumped on board, obviously, because we love our job and we love Lu! She’s a seriously cool chick!

Lu also brought on one of our favourite florists, Becky (beside Lu) from Blush and Bloom. Another very cool chick

It was so great working with a team and it turned out amazing!

These ribbon chargers, although a pain to make, were totally worth it. Don’t they look awesome with Becky’s fleurs?

We made 220 ribbon wands for the ceremony. I can’t wait to see a picture of them being waved in the air by all the guests!

This is our favourite backdrop by far. We didn’t really do it intentionally, but doesn’t it look like a Moroccan wedding blanket???

We also made some banner signs for different areas of the room. You know how much we love glitter…and we also love fringe, so it was a match made in heaven!

We would obviously love to bust out a post every day, but because we are so busy right now, it’s often the last thing we think about. Bare with us!

We are really happy to share these invitations though. Erika & Tommy have hired Hoopla to take care of every decor aspect of their wedding, from invitations to florals to seating charts, etc. And we couldn’t be happier!

They are getting married on Toronto Island in August, so Erika mentioned that a Toronto skyline on the invitation would be cool.

Well we thought it would be cool too, so we enlisted the help of our graphic designer friend, Katrina, gave her the design we came up with, including our watercolour vision, colours, etc. and here is the final result.

We are so happy with how they turned out and, more importantly, Erika & Tommy loved them!

So, this past weekend was cray cray. We had not one, but TWO weddings on Saturday. We normally wouldn’t do this, but one of my good friends was getting married and she wanted Hoopla to be part of her day and one of Robin’s family friends was getting married and she wanted us too. We couldn’t say no.

Kathryn and Dean’s wedding took place at Knox College Chapel at UofT in Toronto and then the Hart House for the reception. It was seriously Hogwarts. We LOVED it!

Their colours were blush and cream so the bouquets and centerpieces were full of blush roses, blush peonies, white hydrangea and various other pretty flowers.

Do you see those peonies?? Unreal!

Katrina (our graphic designer) and Trevor’s wedding took place at the Richmond Hill Country Club and it was music-themed. Check out their record table numbers!

Their colours were vibrant pinks, oranges and whites and the bouquets seriously killed me!

I say this every time we do a wedding, but both Kathryn and Katrina’s bouquets were my favourite yet.

And the crazy fun didn’t stop there friends. If you follow us on Instagram, you would know we were taking part in a photo shoot today. I can’t share any detailed pics, but hopefully you’ll be seeing it published online very soon.

Phew, thank goodness the weekend is over. On to the next wedding!

On Saturday, we were vendors at The Wedding Co’s Spring Show. We were among 40 amazing wedding-related vendors and it was such a great experience – not only to meet new bride and grooms, but to network with other companies in the biz.

Remember our Industrial Garden Party post? Well, we think we nailed it! Our booth included a metal grid backdrop, complete with a floral heart wreath, aluminum place cards and table number, vintage metal baskets full of DIY garland kits and florals galore.
