HAPPY MONDAY!!!

This weekend Shannon and I had a jam packed schedule with a Baby Shower, The One of a Kind Show, Cupcakes and Winter Urn designing.  Friday night we threw a surprise Baby Shower for my dear friend Alicia!  She showed up and had no idea that any of this was planned for her.  Success!!

Her and her hubby have decided to keep the gender of the baby a surprise, so they decorated the nursery as neutral as possible in greys, whites and yellows.  It was only fitting to keep the colour scheme in line with the nursery with a little bit of an elephant theme.

Our favourite decor installation of the party was the “Wish Upon a Star” area, where guests were able to write well wishes to the parents to be and their upcoming bundle of joy.  At the end of the night Alicia was able to take the jar home, where she will eventually read the love notes together with her hubby and baby.

As the night went on, we chatted about babies while indulging in fabulous cupcakes baked by  The Cupcakery, and drank sparkling lemonade.  Needless to say, Alicia enjoyed every moment of it.  Thanks to everyone who helped make our first surprise baby shower go off without a hitch!
