Miss Porter Caitlin
September 4, 2012Well, it’s been two weeks since Little Miss Porter Caitlin graced us with her presence…and I am in love!
I know it’s still early, but she is such a good little baby. We barely hear a peep out of her all day and I’m only up twice a night feeding her. Plus, she is a pro at accepting the millions of kisses that Keaton gives her, even when they are slobbery and a little aggressive at times.
Even though she’s a little doll, it’s still a huge transition from one to two kids, especially when the first requires your attention 24/7. But we are making do and looking forward to getting into a bit of a schedule. Keaton starts preschool tomorrow, so that should help.
Anyways, I apologize for the following photo bomb of adorable photos from the big day to now – I just can’t help it!

I also wanted to take this time to let you know that Robin and I are going to decrease our posting during the week. Since I’m home with the kids, Robin is still working full-time and our Hoopla schedule is filling up, we have found that it’s just too hard to keep up a 5-posts-per-week schedule. We promise we will do 3 and if we have time for more, we will do more.

She is beautiful Shannon! Congrats again to you & your wonderful family. The transition from 1 to 2 definately does take some getting used to.
Having Keaton go to Pre-school is good for both you and him. It gives him some time to go out and be with kids his own age & have “his” time. It gives you time to be home and able to focus on Porter. I’m sure he’ll love it.
Glad to hear that things are going well. And only up 2 times a night to feed – lucky you. Hopefully she keeps up that schedule (even during growth spurts! Eeek!).
