Sweet Sources: Mrs. Bridal Boutique
January 30, 2012Robin and I come into contact with some pretty awesome resources, both in our Hoopla endeavours and personal experiences….and we want to share these with you! Hence, “Sweet Sources!”
Starting off is Mrs. Bridal Boutique, which I came to know personally, because my sister, Caitie, just recently bought her wedding dress there.
Caitie was initially drawn to this new-to-town, Toronto, wedding dress boutique because of their mandate – owners Kelly and Michelle were both recently married and found that “their wedding gown shopping experience in their beloved city was alittle….well…uninspired.”
And you know what? I tend to agree. When I was searching for my dress 5 years ago, I found the shops to be old and stuffy and the sales assistants to be even older and stuffier! We needed a fresh, new, wedding dress shopping experience! And Mrs. Bridal Boutique is that answer!
Set in the swanky Yorkville area, this gorgeous shop is anything but snobby! We dealt with Kelly (left) and she was amazing! Totally hip, friendly and accommodating.
We were all brought into their bridal suite area, on the third floor, and were wowed by the details – exposed brick wall, crazy-cool crown moulding, beautiful furnishings and my favourite part – the lucite clothes hanger!!
Kelly was completely cool the whole time and didn’t seem annoyed by our oohing and ahhing and questions – there were 5 of us, so lots of different personalities!
And to top it all off, Caitie chose the most beautiful wedding dress and she is going to be the most beautiful bride in August, at her apple orchard wedding!
Along with really amazing dresses at different price points, they also have an array of bridal accessories that my sister, Allie, and I had our eyes on! Maybe future wedding party gifts, Caitie?? Hint, hint, nudge, nudge
But seriously, we were all very impressed with them right from the get-go. From the service, to the products to the decor, Mrs. Bridal Boutique is Hoopla-certified!
We want to know – how was your wedding dress shopping experiences? Good, bad, ugly?

Haha we will see about the bridal party present, Shan! But seriosly, great post. MRS. Bridal was truly a one-of-a-kind dress shopping experience and I’m so happy that I said yes to the dress at this store
Yayyy Caitie!
I’ve only heard wonderful things about Mrs. Bridal. I can agree that some stores can be stuffy and not fun. I bought my dress from Ines Di Santo, just down the street from Mrs. Bridal and had an amazing experience!
Good to know Nicole, thanks!
Just went there this weekend upon Caitie’s suggestion, and fell in love with everything: the atmosphere, experience, service, dresses, Kelly, decor, everything!
Oh yay Amy! I’m so glad you liked it! When are you getting married?
August 4&5th, 2012. August is busy!
Wow, that is busy!! Congrats by the way!
