A Wedding On The Island
September 18, 2012If you follow us on Instagram and Twitter, you would have seen some photos we took during the set up of the wedding we did on Saturday.
I’ve actually known Michelle and Steve for years! I went to elementary school with Michelle and she started going out with Steve in high school. We were so happy they thought of us to help with their wedding design.
And it couldn’t have been a more beautiful venue! It took place at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club, on Toronto Island. Therefore, we needed to take the vendor barge over, along with the gold Chiavari chairs.
(you can see some of the bouquets on the right there and the centerpieces behind!)
Once you get off the ferry, you walk down this long dock and see this beauty of a building:
It feels like you are on some sort of plantation in the South or something.
For M & S’s wedding, we were hired to do the flowers, the centerpieces and set up a bunch of other elements – table numbers, menu cards, hanging signs, gift table, ceremony set up, etc.
The room looked absolutely gorgeous when it was all said and done…
Michelle looked unbelievable…
And Robin and I couldn’t resist having some fun setting up:
A match made in heaven! Haha!
All in all, it was a really successful day. Congrats Michelle and Steve!
